I don't like it either. Just looks off to me.
SIG Auctions was a lesser player a few years ago in the auction circuit but just sort of disappeared. The owner, Bobby Poll, was fairly well recognized as knowledgeable in the autograph field as he published a book that showed legitimate autographs of most if not all HOFer's and he also showed secretarial and outright forgeries for them as well.
My guess is this item only came with his LOA which again although he was pretty knowledgeable, I doubt this item could be authenticated by JSA, PSA/DNA, or Beckett. As previously stated, the timing of Vance's death leaves a small window for him to have signed the card and would have to be one of the tougher ones in the set.
I would do a "Quick Opinion" with PSA/DNA or Beckett for $10 just to help rule out being authentic. You will need a very clear scan in order to get an opinion.
Don't think they will opine "Likely Genuine" but it is a small price for another opinion on the auto IMO. They tend to err on the very safe side with these opinions and probably miss the mark at times. Also, no explanation will be given nor who actually reviewed the autograph. It is as generic of an opinion that you can get but again provides some value for a small price.
