The A's played at Columbia Park from 1901 to 1908, and then in 1909 they moved to Shibe Park. Note the tickets listed 1909 and after have Shibe Park printed on them.

The 1908's width is different from the '05 to '07 Also, the print is different, best seen in "American League Base Ball Club". Another difference in the 1908 is the t being dropped from 25 ct. I can find no difference in the '05 to '07.

There is a small shift of "Good for ..." to the right going from 1904 to 1905. Credit Bryan Rappoport with the 1904 scan. Would love to see if anyone has an example from 1901 to 1903.

Philadelphia Athletics HoFers from this period ('04 to '13): Eddie Plank, Rube Waddell, Chief Bender, Eddie Collins, Jimmy Collins, Home Run Baker, Stan Coveleski, Herb Pennock
Hi Jeff,
Yes, you are correct about all of these originating from one collector.
I would like to add that the same collector had Philadelphia Phillies tickets from the same era and these exhibited the same writing, BTW.

As a collector, I recall when this collection 1st surfaced in the mid-late 1990's.
Background:
Sports hobbyist George Kenigsburg (SP?) RIP that owned the Monterey Bay Sports Museum, was also a dealer and he had quite a number of these for sale at his booth that he had at a baseball card show at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA.
Several of these games had Ruth HR's, Walter Johnson, Eddie Plank, Rube Waddell and Ed Walsh wins, etc.

I have several of these tickets in my personal collection, but none as early as 1903. Also, I do not remember seeing any A's tickets from 1901-1903 in this collection.
It should be noted that this collection seemed to run until 1918-1920, then seemed to stop.

I appreciate some of the notable differences on some of the different years within this collection that you mentioned as this was new to me.

Anyway, nice post and I wish I could provide an older exemplar or two, but unfortunately can't...

Here are a few of the tickets from this collection that I own:
Early HOF Rube Waddell win from his career year in 1904 (A's ticket), HOF Ed Walsh win (A's ticket), HOF Grover Cleveland Alexander win (Phillies ticket), HOF Christy Mathewson win (Phillies ticket), No-hit pitcher Jeff Tesreau win (Phillies ticket)
