My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer shortly after his 68th birthday. I remember he told me the news while I was eating breakfast and it was just so hard to eat after that! I think his Gleason score was 7. He started seeing blood in his urine and then they performed the biopsy on him, and that's how they caught it. Anyhow, he is going for a major surgery next month and we're all hoping for the best. I am not sure if he will be doing radiation though because he does have a few other health issues.
