After running all that and re-booting my PC, I could not log into eBay. I contacted customer support via my cell phone, and reported the "Captcha" loop I was stuck in. "Sarah", the rep I finally was able to talk to via a call back, cleared it and got me in. She stated that eBay has had numerous account hacks and attempted hacks in the past week, and that the activity dramatically ramped up just in the past 48 hours. The Captcha verification has also been hacked.
