Meyercort Corp of Chicago made these and many other decals through the fifties. The original Meyercort Building is still standing (at least it was as of last fall and was last used as Masonic Lodge.
I picked up a couple of Billy Pierce Star Cals some years ago and decided to look into the origins of these things. I fell down a deep rabbit hole.

The Hollywood and music stars decals are almost as cool as the ballplayers.
