When I am not sure,I just type in the coin and markings on eBay and usually can find a similar copy.
Much like cards, grading is important,although I don’t see the big delta in prices that cards receive particularly in grades below 64. Again, just my experience.
I grade more for authenticity, so that I know if something is real or not. And when I do sell, I don’t need worry I did something wrong.
