That might be the wildest yet! Somebody at the Treasury Dept. was in charge of Civil War pensions until a few months ago--imagine that. "What do you do?" "I handle Civil War pensions, how about you?" I was a teenager and remember well in the early 1960s when the last Civil War veterans were passing away. One of the last Tuskegee Airmen died a couple days ago. These "time travel" anomalies are so cool. Mine is more apropos to the Forum: I vividly recall meeting Clark Griffith not long before he passed away in 1955. I was nine, and he took me by the hand and we rode together in this tiny elevator that went up one story to his office at Griffith Stadium. Griffith was born in 1869, and I'm telling this story 152 years later.
