Agreed. I collect gold coins and wish the $5 piece also had "fine gold" " or ".900" written somewhere on the coin. That said, these 22k pieces are cool.

I'm all about melt weight for gold/silver. The approximate gold content/value for the $5 gold piece is about $400 (melt weight) assuming $1800/ounce for gold. At $674 for the coin, it's not too bad. The $5 coin would be at melt weight value if gold ever reached about $3000/ounce.
Aesthetically, that Rube Foster is fantastic.
