Yeah, I see your point, but at the end of the day, all of us on Net54 are card collectors. Most of us probably PREFER vintage, but that doesn't mean it's not ALSO fun to rip open some packs, or buy cards of guys we can currently watch in person and on TV.
I'll bet some of those said they don't buy modern cards probably secretly still open a pack or two. They just don't want to admit to owning the "shiny stuff"
