1934 Goudey Gehrig authenticity question
Hello everyone,
I impulse bidded on/bought this 1934 Goudey Gehrig on eBay. The seller is pretty high volume, lists the card as a original, and none of his very few negative reviews discuss concerns about authenticity/fakes.
The card feels good in hand and I have a few other Goudey cards that it compares to pretty well, but I am not an expert on authentication, and I've never bought a raw card this expensive before where I had concerns if it would be real/fake. I've looked at some sites that talk about how to determine reals vs fakes with Goudey, but at this moment, I don't have a jewelers loupe or a blacklight.
The seller accepts returns for 30 days, so I'm not too worried on that end. I was just hoping someone with more experience/knowledge than me could let me know what they thought.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
