I was born in St Louis in 1950 and was there until 1985. The Cardinals were really good in the 60s but were horrible in the 50s. My Dad would take me to games and for some reason he despised Mizzel. Not sure why. Ironically we must have seen him pitch in person in at least 3 games. He always lost. But elected to Congress in his post baseball life
