Hi All:
Just a quick reminder that Love of the Game's Fall Premier Auction closes tonight. Extended bidding begins at 9pm eastern time, with the double OT session beginning at 1.
The auction is loaded with prewar highlights, most notably the first lot, which is the
E135 Collins-McCarthy Babe Ruth. It's a great card, one of the earliest of Ruth from a tough issue.
Also of note is the T3 near-set we are breaking up, offered card-by-card, including a nice Cobb.
There are also a number of less frequently-seen Ruth and Gehrig cards, a number of beautiful Conly cabinet photos as well as a collection of Harvard cabinets that include Fred Thayer, the inventor of the catcher's mask.
The memorabilia assortment is also strong, with hundreds of vintage programs, some beautiful original photography, some great ticket stubs, and a number of outstanding autographed cards.
If you're so inclined, please visit the auction at

Regards,
