FS: Fantastic, rare 1902 Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training Tour souvenir booklet. 4-page booklet with soft heavy paper covers and bound with ribbon, made up by the railroad men of Pittsburgh and presented to the Pirates players as they embarked on their spring training trip to Hot Springs, AR on March 29, 1902. The center pages feature a team vignette made from a 1901 photo by Rosser.
Size is about 5.25" x 7.25" when closed. Condition is good overall. See photos below. The picture on the front cover is attached at the four corners (as issued) and the lower right corner has a tear but it is still attached. Light age soiling throughout.
There have only been a couple of these booklets that have come to market over the years, one of which came directly from the Honus Wagner estate.
