I have been off and on in the hobby for quite some time - basically since I had kids. Now we have 3. But...I just resigned from my job to finally pursue music and think I might be coming back to the hobby for good now!
ANYWAY - the Steinfeldt/Overall portraits are probably my favorite T206 cards in the set in terms of their aesthetic appeal - but what is on this Steinfeldt portrait has long eluded me. Please feel free to post your own cards with things that have eluded you - the knowledge on this board is what intrigued me to the hobby in the first place.
Notice the frame on the outside, the clear angled O, and what looks like a G underneath the S of CUBS. Also looks like the frame of a standard large S on bottom right of jersey, but none of those exist that I know of in the T206 group. Could just be a a mixed bag of marks, but I'm certain the ink is original, I've looked at it under 40x microscope. Possibly a wild goose chase, but I don't doubt the people here anymore...
