I agree that GG are beginning to recognize defensive excellence.
As for silver sluggers, I want to point out that Joey Votto has not won yet even though he ws the best hitting first baseman 5 times. He didn't even win during his MVP season, or when he narrowly lost to Stanton. This Reds fan is not bitter!
