Voted Dahlen from this abbreviated list.

I don't understand why Reynolds is even on the ballot. It certainly isn't a math argument that places him there.

Reynolds - 25.4 WAR (375th all time among P's), 2492 IP, 109 ERA+

Lopat - 32.1 WAR, 2439 IP, 116 ERA+

Raschi - 16.5 WAR, 1839 IP, 105 ERA+

Heck, we can even leave the exact same rotation:

Shawkey - 47 WAR, 2937 IP, 114 ERA+

Stottlemyre - 43.1 WAR, 2661 IP, 112 ERA+

Reynolds is just a bizarre choice. Are they just trying to shove any Yankee pitcher in the hall? Did they just pick him randomly from the 50's rotation?

Out of 10 players from 74 years of MLB baseball, 7 of which are taken up by Negro Leaguer's, this is one of the top 3 long-recognized-as-a-major-league-or-whatever-we-will-call-it-now-leagues players not in the Hall? I find it difficult to see how he could be chosen as one of the top 3 via any reasonable metric, only by being a nostalgic Yankees fan.
