Yes first things first that card and any others in screwdown cases should be removed asap. Freezer is great idea just make sure it is cold and has low humidity ( no white ice on freezer surfaces)
Now some potential bad news if screwdown case has pressed down on any crease or corner too hard you will get the dreaded N9 from PSA or Altered stock.
I have had cards from a 33 Goudey Ruth to a 85 Mcgwire rookie come back with a N9 and every one was in a Hard screwdown case. My Dad and I used to put all our cards over $50 in a hard plastic case. We then used post it notes on backs to prevent scratching and so that we could display price. Spending extra time and money to protect our cards. Now only maybe 2% of the cards I kept in hard cases that I got graded came back N9 but every one hurt. My best wishes that all of yours are fine.
