The every other month has multiple sports (baseball, football, basketball and hockey) from the 1900s-1980. But it's all mainstream sets. If you're looking for the oddball stuff, then you need the thick almanac. I have one (a couple actually) from a couple of years ago. Not sure if that helps. But I only keep them to look through and try and identify if I have any questions about sets, which years, etc. Don't really use them for value anymore, just reference (either the book or ebay if I can find a similar card on there0.
