My cousin and I were at Shea in 1971 when Kingman hit a homerun that hit the Giant's team bus which was parked at the back of the bullpen. Put a big dent in the roof. The ball continued out of the stadium and kept rolling through the parking lot, chased by a couple of fans. We were sitting in the mezzanie, first row right at the right field foulpole. Great view.
Been a fan of his ever since.
