I once saw many high end 1955 Topps - blew me away! The colors, Wow! Like just dripping wet, amazing. And the assortment of top tier players darn good to boot. When I was deciding which set to to most dabble in, for post-war 1955 Topps is tough to top.

Liking pre-war better, the decision came down to the big 3 already mentioned. Scratch the '52 Topps - centering issues seemed very difficult, scratch the Goudey although tempting with the Ruth's (hindsight should have gone there). But I went with T206 - still happy with my choice.
