Here's a portrait run of George Gibson (who else) that is a work in progress.

I also own a W575-1, but don't have it handy.
I'd love to track down the Herpolsheimer's and E123 Curtis Ireland someday.

Anyway, I also have this. Maybe the most interesting piece of the run.

A/the photo that was used for each of the cards.



What's more interesting (to me), though, is actually the back of the photo. I think I've shown this on here before. When I bought the photo it made no mention of 'Glory of their Times', but it seems to me this may be the actual physical photo used for the book.



If you look up the "Picture Credits" in the book, it says this: "Many of the pictures in this book were obtained from the personal albums of the players themselves. the sources of the others are as follows:"

There is no source for the Gibson photo. So....?
