FS: Ernest "Tiny" Bonham Cut Signature-Price Reduced
Signature of NY Yankee Ernest "Tiny" Bonham, cut from what looks like a yearbook.
In 1940 he was summoned from Triple-A Kansas City in order to anchor a weak Yankees pitching staff.
He remained with the Yankees until 1946, becoming the mainstay of manager Joe McCarthy's pennant-winning combinations between 1941 and 1943.
Bonham died from a failed appendectomy in 1949, at the age of 36, making his signature quite rare.
$65 + $8 shipping.
