I recently read a new book by Kent Krause about Sam Crawford.
I would suggest it to anyone who enjoys reading about the early days of baseball, and since there is NOT a lot of info that has been published before about Crawford or his career, this is an excellent source of material that appears to be fairly deeply researched.
My affinity of Wahoo Sam aside, I would argue he is truly one of the most "forgotten" great players of the turn of the century in baseball.
Would love to get some comments from anyone else that has read it.
Happy Collecting!
