but what makes this rare the 1984 schedule poster featuring Coach Howard Schnellenberger,

but he resigned from the University on May 25, 1984 and did not coach UM that season.

Jimmy Johnson was named head coach at UM on June 4, 1984.

So this particular '84 schedule poster featuring Schnellenberger is quite rare-. Miami pulled back THE POSTERS before they were

distributed when Schnellenberger resigned. and these were owned by a retired Coors /UM SALES REP

who retrieved them before they were to be discarded. none were ever released at that time

originally issued by COOR'S in 1884 original poster
