FS: Rare 1907 baseball scorecard for the Idaho State League, Boise vs Emmett. As many will know, Walter Johnson famously played for Weiser in the Idaho State League in 1907, on his rise to national prominence. This scorecard is the only piece of game ephemera I've ever seen from the Idaho State League, not to mention that it's actually from 1907. Great item if you're an Idaho baseball collector, or if you are lucky enough to own Johnson's Weiser postcard and are looking for a companion piece.
The scorecard came out of a scrapbook and is accompanied by a late-1950's newspaper clipping profiling a pitcher/infielder who faced Walter Johnson while playing for Boise in 1907! The scorecard belonged to him (Mitchell) and those are his math scribblings on the back of the scorecard, as well as a pencilled list of the teams in the eight-team Idaho State League, with what look to be scores.
The scorecard is a two page fold-over on medium heavy board and is in good condition. The front cover is creased in the upper right corner, and the spine fold is split about 2-1/4" at the bottom. Light glue staining on back cover. Scorecard size is 6" x 9" closed.
Price: $SOLD shipped.

Ray
