Seems crazy, as I’ve had hundreds of these over the years and almost couldn’t give them away... what’s amazing is if this grades a 10 it would be a steal as they’re selling for 8-10x the asking price of $90. If it’s a 9 then it’s a $20-$30 card. It actually looks pretty sharp so, based on this current market, is not a ridiculous price... basically a binary outcome of losing 80% or making 800% based on the judgement of some other “collector” who happens to work at a TPG. I don’t blame the seller for putting what appears to be a ridiculously high figure for such a card given this. Frankly, in normal times I’d encourage him to get it slabbed and then sell, but given the backlog at all 3 of the big ones I don’t blame him for selling raw.
