FS: VIM magazine, Vol.5, June 1905, Base Ball Number. Extremely rare copy of this magazine. With McGraw on the cover and the VIM logo done up in bats, this is one of the greatest covers of all early sports magazines. The magazine is about 50 pages, with one article called "The Benefits of Base Ball" featuring photos of many NY Giants including Bresnahan, Mathewson, and McGinnity. Six photos of Giants in all, plus one of the Polo Grounds.
Condition is fair. Cover is pretty decent. "1905" written in pencil. Outer right edge has a lot of overhang, thus are heavily chipped (same with back cover). One short tear at cover edge. Spine is heavily chipped. Inside is nice and complete. All is all though this magazine is about the cover, and it's magnificent.
