Similar to the Cobb bank, I have never seen any indication that they were actually related to the Federal League club. Indeed, not only do they come up much to frequently, in my opinion, to be related to the Federal League, but they don't even resemble a terrier to me.
I'm pretty positive it has nothing at all to do with the Federal League. Griwsold Pup paperweights seem like the beanie babies of early 20th century.
