As an avid Yankees fan in the 1950's, Eddie was one of my favorites. I saw him hit some long HR's deep into the Right-Field seats (or upper deck) of Yankee Stadium.
Here he is pictured in the centerfold of the 2nd issue of Sports Illustrated (Aug 23, 1954).
