When I called I was told they would attempt delivery the next day - I explained that was unacceptable - after what felt like an unreasonable amount of time and conversations with 2 employees who "didn't get it" - same day redelivery was scheduled. The package arrived at a bit after 10AM. Although a signature was "required" the driver explained because of Covid I didn't have to sign. I opened the box to find missing cards worth $$$$. Reminded in the process that while FedEx will be happy to take your money for whatever amount of insurance you would like to pay for, "the fine print" states that their maximum liability for "collectibles" is $1,000.

Best way to send and insure more valuable items is USPS registered mail!
A FedEx employee stole your cards? What was written under the 'description of contents' section? Did the sender write baseball cards and put down a big value? Also, have you dealt with this sender before? Are you sure he didn't send you an empty box?
