Default Pittsburgh's official team scorebook for 1895 (over 100 games)

Historically important, many of the details contained in this official scorebook are likely the only source of these games extant. This is the Pittsburgh Pirate's scorebook that was kept by the team's official scorer John Gruber in 1895/1896. Covers all of the 1895 home games and the beginning of 1896. Over 100 scored games. All of the games totals match with the newspaper boxscores except these hold the full play by play details of every home game. Every major league team is represented in this book multiple times. Players like Young, Anson, Hamilton, Delahanty, etc. I previously owned two other of Gruber's scorebooks but this was the oldest and, in my opinion, the best of them. Asking **Sold**.
