Difficult week in the baseball world with the passing of two Hall of Famers (Seaver & Brock) and just yeterday I learned that former A.L. President Gene Budig had passed away as well.
A few years back at the Baseball HOF Gift Shop I picked up this book that Budig wrote, which featured Cal Ripken Jr. on the cover. I then sent it to Mr. Budig who graciously signed and returned it:
