Every time I look at this photo it makes me chuckle. Brooks has his normal grin while getting an award at, I assume, a “Moose Lodge” with a mounted moose in the background (it’s not an Elk is it? No offence if it’s an “Elk Lodge” rather than a moose). The young fellow with his broken (or likely sprained) arm in a sling with a letterman jacket draped around his shoulders and neck looking up at Brooks like he’s come down from a higher league. What type of sport could this kid have lettered in?!? Then there’s the other fellows, one who may possibly be Colonel Sanders (Lt. Smith) along with the great Earl Campbell (What!
