I thought people would think it was fun to see a bit of history from Gene Bailey. He was released by both Boston teams in a single year, 1920.
Baseball Reference shows that he was sold by the Braves to the Red Sox on July 4, 1920:

What is interesting is that his release from the Braves is dated June 9, 1920. If BR is right, that means he was released and then sold about a month later, something I didn't know was possible.
Also below are his 1924 RPPC team photo of the Brooklyn Robbins (mis-labled as 1920 Red Sox). If you ever wondered what the moments before the official serious team photo look like, here is your answer. Guys clowning around, someone tossing a ball in the air.
You will also notice they have a dog in the middle with a pipe in his mouth.
