It depends. The card grade is listed above the auto grade, and as stated, the auto grade usually says that next to it.

They do whatever the submitter asked them to grade or authenticate. They also have red flips (used to be blue flips) that just say trading card, which means they DID NOT authenticate the card, only the auto. So don't buy a 1963 Topps Pete Rose that just says Trading Card on the flip, because it's very likely a reprint/counterfeit.
