Hello everyone! I figured to post this here in the event anybody was interested in picking up a reproduction of the 1912 Hassan Tobacco store counter display, featuring baseball stars Ty Cobb and Christy Mathewson.

Unlike most other reproductions of this piece, this was a limited production release by the Estates of Cobb and Mathewson (by CMG Worldwide). As you will see in the photos, this particular piece was hand numbered as the seventh (NO. 7) in the production line, as produced in the year 2006. Stamps from each player's respective estate are provided on each of the side fold-outs.

The color and images on each of the attached three panels are bright and relatively clean. The only noticeable blemish is a slight separation (albeit still attached) between the Cobb panel and the center Hassan panel (the canvas is separating from the backing board). Other than that, this piece is in solid condition! Measures approx. 24 in. x 14 in.

There is little information provided on these particular reproductions, much of which (I assume) is due in part to the low production run offered by CMG Worldwide. With that being said, this is perhaps the closest known replica to the real Hassan display that exists. If anyone happens to have any further information on these pieces, please don't hesitate to let me know!
