This ticket stub is for the game of November 11, 1956 at Korakuen Stadium. According to the research we did, there was no game played this day. However, the game was rained out and rescheduled for 11/12. The Dodgers won 10-2 despite facing three Japan Hall of Fame pitchers that day--Masaichi Kaneda, Takehiko Bessho and Noboru Akiyama. Roy Campanella and Gil Hodges homered for the Dodgers, but the big story of the game is that Jackie Robinson slugged his final round tripper as a Brooklyn Dodger. After playing one more game the next day, the Dodgers returned to the States and Robinson retired from baseball. Measures: 5 1/4" x 3"
