I agree. The older covers are much better for autographs; better photography and less clutter.
Plus, many of the newer guys who are on the covers are either too expensive if you have to pay, or just sign with a scribble.
I think the magazine, at least in paper form, is hanging by a thread these days. Sad to see.
If there is a veterans hospital near you, maybe you could donate them there.
