Reprint Replaced with "Read Description"
As I scroll through eBay a lot during this quarantine, I've noticed something about every other listing when searching for vintage cards. It appears the word "Reprint" has been replaced strategically with the phrase "Read Description".
I don't know why, but this is so annoying to me. Just call it what it is...."Reprint". Or even call it a "Fake".
But they all seem to use the same type of selling script:
"Note the fine aged vintage-like details of the card Use the card as a FILLER until you get the real one Some time and effort was spent to fake it."
I don't know any real collectors that would use a "Reprint" as a "filler" until they can get the real one. There may be some collectors out there, but none of the collectors I associate with would use a reprint as a "filler".
