Fs here is a very neat vic wertz gpc with content regarding the upcoming 1954 world series
Its a gpc post marked 9/15/54. Its from vic wertz (signed twice) and addressed to bob spackman (40’s minor leaguer, author and miu athletic trainer)-will also include photo of mr spackman.
Wertz writes:

You most certainly have my permission to use my picture. Can you imagine my getting into a series after starting the season with Baltimore? Certainly wouldnt have dreamed it!
