Humorous story about Freeman 171-5. A number of years ago I bought what I thought was a proof of 171-5 and it was explained to me that it was a repro, homemade, fantasy-type piece. I sent it back, and got a refund. Years later, I posted the scan again on here as "One of my favorite 19th images." Once again, it was pointed out to me that the card was not legit, and I realized that I didn't even have it anymore. I do think this n172 is good, so there you have it...
