Day 91 (March 31, 2020 – 091)
I may have mentioned it before, but love the proof stuff (even better than the final version or finished product). I guess one of the main reasons is I can go onto eBay and locate almost any of the regular issue cards pretty much any day of the week. You can typically find the cards in all types of condition as well. Look for vintage proof items and they’re just not out there; very uncommon to come across anything nowadays. Once in a great while something will surface and we’ll see if I can acquire and if not at least I know it’s out there.
The item I chose today is a 1963 Bazooka Panel proof. The ’63 Bazooka panel pictures Bill White, Ray Herbert and Brooks Robinson (28/29/30). The colors really stand out and I think the SGC slab enhances the look.

Hopefully I’ve done alright so far with this Brooks Robinson and Baltimore Orioles thread as we close this quarter end. I know you guys have made the thread very interesting and informative for me. Let’s see how the next quarter goes…
