To begin with, I highly recommend taking a couple of minutes to listen to this great old Police tune, as the chorus really sums up what is happening to us all right now...

Before Armageddon hit a couple of days ago, I grabbed up this Schmidt RC, and it arrived today, so I'm trying to make the best of what's still around. Yup, there is a semi-blizzard of snowfall swirling around and through the players, but in hand it's not overly bothersome to me at all (opinions will certainly vary). Large, high-def scans always make things seem more alarming (actually, now that I look at it, this scan - with the lack of a CCD element - does the exact opposite and very much DOWNPLAYS how conspicuous the snow is, especially on Hilton's hat, but I digress). However, I'll take these corners and perfect centering any day of the week...

Update: here's a more 'alarming' scan...

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
