I will collect most anything baseball related especially Orioles. Like most kids, cards were the first things I collected and still comprise the bulk of my collection. However, magazines, programs, etc are also a significant portion and a nice cover of any periodical is really tough for me to resist. Sport was my favorite magazine as a kid. I agree with you that this is one of my favorite covers on a magazine; love the picture used and setup. I too cut the pictures out and typically stapled them to my walls with the rest of the posters I had tacked up...
