Yes, the 50's Bowmans are my favorite sets of all time.

The artwork on the 1950, 1951, and 1952 sets is beautiful. Little masterpieces. I'm 85% done building a 1952 Bowman set.

But if you prefer photography, then 1953 Bowman has it covered...another "work of art" set.

And since Bowman seems to be a little less popular with collectors than Topps, that means you can pick up stars and HOF cards at fairly reasonable prices compared to their Topps counterparts.
