Personally, I think it is going to be dependent on your risk tolerance. I see the Cobb as being a sure maintain/increase, but I can see more potential upside (and also risk of a downside) with a rare back, especially if you can get a lower level HOFer with a clean back.
I would stay far away from a really high grade common at this point.
