History:
These were paper sheets of cards sold for $0.01 in candy stores in 1941 as an alternative to cards as paper was being rationed in prep for WWII. These were meant to be purchased and then cut out. These were an alternative to the cardboard versions of these same cards that were sold in packs. The paper versions are MUCH rarer.
