It's not a commonly used hobby term, it never was a hobby term, and hopefully it never catches on and
becomes a common hobby term.
You just have a few members here and there casually using the phrase, some of which are more active and vocal than others, so it creates this illusion of it being a hobby term.
It's supposed to imply "marquee" or "highly sought after" or "expensive" or "popular", similar to a waterfront property, conflating cards with real estate and blurring the lines between collecting and investing.
