I became more interested in Trouppe and began to look for items pertaining to his career. Always looking for ticket stubs from his six game major league carrer, this is the only one I have come across. On May 10, 1952, Trouppe collected his first and only major league hit in front of 14,000. This would also be the last game of his carrer as he was demoted the next day. This is a neat piece from one man's career that has no doubt been all but forgotten by most.
What a fantastic find, and a career-contemporary item at that! Congrats on a great pickup!

Here's my one and only item of him - a 1972 Puerto Rican League Sticker #225 Quincy Trouppe. I am still hoping to find a PC or nice portrait photo of him in his Cleveland Indians Uniform, but for now this fills the slot in my collection.
