Default yankee photos

These are Thorne prints. He photographed the team in St. Pete from the late 1920 until about 1940. He also photographed the Boston Braves. You usually see his photos in 8x10 format with a Thorne stamp and a place for the player's name on the reverse. He took a very sharp, posed photo. The poses were predictable. He also took team photos of the Yanks and Braves.
I've seen these smaller photos from time-to-time and own a few. The 8x10's are nicer items.
Thorne seems to have been unofficially replaced in Florida by Wm. Greene, the NYC photographer who took over for Charles Conlon at the Evening Telegram. Greene took a beautiful photograph, by the way.
